Mtre Mélanie Archambault obtained her law degree from Université du Québec à Montréal in 2005.
Since her call to the Quebec Bar in 2007, Mtre Archambault practiced law for eight years in a well-known Montreal law firm, specializing in civil and commercial litigation, real estate law, banking and securities law, and disciplinary law. She then joined our team in 2015.
Mtre Archambault has extensive experience in the field of civil and commercial litigation and has worked on complex and large-scale cases since the beginning of her practice. Mtre Archambault has represented the interests of individuals and businesses before all Quebec civil courts, namely the Superior Court, the Court of Quebec, and the Court of Appeal. She has also represented and assisted businesses and individuals before the Federal Court and before various administrative boards and tribunals, notably the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.
Mtre Archambault has developed a significant expertise in real estate law, banking law, securities law, and hypothecary recovery, notably by representing national financial institutions in their debt recovery, litigious and non-litigious, secured and unsecured.
Mtre Archambault has also been called upon to represent various professionals in disciplinary proceedings, such as dentists, psychologists, notaries, and lawyers. Additionally, Mtre Archambault has worked for a consultation service offered to psychologists, answering their questions regarding deontological and ethical issues.
